Gulnar

"Nawab Sahib" (Shaukat Thanvi) arranges the marriage of his daughter "Gulnar" with a jeweler, but the marriage does not take place because the groom is a fake Nawab and in reality a "mashki or behishti" (a water carrier or a lowly person) and already married.

On the other hand, "Gulnar" (Noor Jehan) receives flowers daily from an anonymous person since childhood, who is actually her childhood companion and beloved "Feroz" (Santosh).

Nawab Sahib's neighbor "Fayaz" is also one of Gulnar's admirers, but after failing, in a fit of jealousy, he conspires and presents Feroz as a fake Nawab for Gulnar's marriage proposal.

When Feroz realizes that he is deceiving his beloved Gulnar, he reveals his true identity at the time of the wedding and refuses to marry her.

Feroz cannot hide his love and places two bullets in front of Fayaz, one of which is poisonous. They decide that whoever survives will marry Gulnar.

After taking the bullet, Feroz, psychologically believing he has taken poison, faints. When Gulnar hears the news that Feroz has died, she also takes poison.

After some time, when Feroz regains consciousness and learns that Gulnar has taken poison, he rushes to her. Seeing Gulnar dying, Feroz shoots himself with a pistol, ending his life. The film ends at the same shrine where it began.
