Rehman Verma was music director of Pakistan's first ever action film Baghi in 1956.

in film Yaaran Naal Baharan (1966) was his first super hit song, but his all time best song came in film Sassi Punnu (1968)..

One of his other mega hit song was in film Chor Nalay Chattar in 1970..

Rehman Verma was mate of famous Indian music director Khayyam and they composed music as SharmaJee-VermaJee in Indian film Heer Ranjha (1948). Both music directors were trained by the legendary music director Baba G.A. Chishti.

Rehman Verma, real name Abdur Rehman, was born in 1927 and died on August 11, 2007.
