Nazir Ali was one of the most melodious music director - especially in Punjabi film music. He composed music for more than 160 Urdu and Punjabi films. He started his film career as an assistant musicians with famous music directors Manzoor and M. Ashraf. He also assisted Bakhshi Wazir and Tasadduq Hussain. His first film was Paidagir in 1966 and the last film was Gujjar 302 in 2001.

Nazir Ali was best known for his Dhamal songs, and his composed Lal Meri Patt Rakhio Bala Jhoolay Lalan.. was the most famous Dhamal in Pakistani films. His mega hit musical films were Dillan Day Souday, Genterman (1969), Sajna Door Deya (1970), Aansoo, Mastana Mahi, Aasoo Billa (1971), Khan ChaCha, Sultan, Sajjan BeParwah (1972), Maa Da Lal (1974), Qaidi (1984) etc.

Nazir Ali died on January 5, 2013 at Lahore.

یہ تاریخ ساز ویب سائٹ، ایک انفرادی کاوش ہے جو 2002ء سے mazhar.dk کی صورت میں مختلف موضوعات پر معلومات کا ایک گلدستہ ثابت ہوئی تھی۔

اس دوران، 2011ء میں میڈیا کے لیے akhbarat.com اور 2016ء میں فلم کے لیے pakfilms.net کی الگ الگ ویب سائٹس بھی بنائی گئیں
لیکن 23 مارچ 2017ء کو انھیں موجودہ اور مستقل ڈومین pakmag.net میں ضم کیا گیا جس نے "پاک میگزین" کی شکل اختیار کر لی تھی۔
