Qazi Wajid

Qazi Wajid started his career on Radio Pakistan Karachi. He was seen as a child actor in famous film Bedari in 1957 and was hero with Sangeeta in film Tum Sa Nahin Dekha in 1974. His other films as supporting actor were Ghar Damad (1969), Rim Jhim (1971), Baadal Aur Bujli (1973) and Raqqasa (2002). His first famous TV play was Khuda Ki Basti in 1969. Tanhayian, Dhoop Kinaray, Hawa Ki Beti and Anar Kali were some of his other famous TV plays.

Qazi Wajid was born at Meerut, India, on Friday, 26 May, 1944 and died at Karachi on Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was 74 years old.
