Yousuf Khan Sher Bano was the first ever Pashto film and Badar Munir and Yasmin Khan were the first pair in this memorable Pashto film. Nazir Hussain was producer and Aziz Tabassum was director. This inaugural Pashto film completed more than 50 weeks in one cinema of Peshawar, relased on December 1, 1970.
