Chakori was introduced in Sindhi film Sharoo Feroze in 1968. Her first Urdu film was Janwar in 1972 and her first Punjabi film was Kon Sharif Kon Badmash in 1977. She got breakthrough from film Moula Jatt in 1979. She was one of the main reason for the block buster success of this film. Her role as Daro Natni was remarkable. She married to Sindhi film hero Mushtaq Changezi and then Punjabi film hero Kaifee. She died on November 1st, 2010 at Lahore.
