He was a distinguished intellectual and the host of a quiz show Kasauti from the 1970s. It was country's longest-running and the most popular television quiz shows. Along with his colleagues Obaidullah Baig, Iftikhar Arif and later Ghazi Salahuddin, Quraish Pur was renowned for extraordinary knowledge of history, literature, geography and the sciences.

Quraish Pur had joined Pakistan Television (PTV) in 1973 as Presentation Controller and retired in 1992 as the head of the department. Other than Kasauti, he was also the host of popular TV programmes like Lafaz Ki Talash, Sheshay Ka Ghar, Zoq-e-Agahi, Manzil, Maizan, Election Quiz and U.N. Quiz. His Radio quiz program B.L. Quiz was also very popular. He appeared as expert in other TV quiz show Jo Janya Woh Jeetay.

His real name was Zulqurnain Qureshi and he was born in 1932.

لیکن 23 مارچ 2017ء کو انھیں موجودہ اور مستقل ڈومین pakmag.net میں ضم کیا گیا جس نے "پاک میگزین" کی شکل اختیار کر لی تھی۔
