Obaidullah Baig was known for Pakistan's Television's famous quiz program Kasuti which started in 1967 from Karachi Centre. He was teamed up with Iftikhar Arif, Quraish Pur and Ghazi Salauddin and guessed every topic within 20 questions.

Obaidullah Baig was intellectual, writer, journalist, producer and compare and worked in Radio and Television from 1961 to 1992. He also made some documentary movies and wrote two novels as well. He was married to TV artist Salma Baig.

His real name was Habib Ullah Baig and he was born in Rampur, India on October 1st, 1936 and died on June 22, 2012 in Karachi.
