Kaleem Usmani wrote songs in many big musical movies like Jalwa (1966), Andaleeb and Nazneen (1969), Dosti, Neend Hamari Khawab Tumharay and Charagh Kahan Roshni Kahan (1971), Bandagi (1972), Gharana (1973), Sharafat (1974), Zindagi (1978) etc..
Kaleem Usmani, real name Ehtisham Elahi, was born on February 28, 1928 in Saharanpur, India and died on August 28, 2000 in Lahore. He was pupil of renowned poet Ehsan Danish.
