She has been the most dominating film heroine since 1998 when her Punjabi film Choorian became blockbuster. She also played the title role in film Majajan (2006) which ran for more than three years in Lahore and was the film of the decade.

Saima was introduced in Punjabi film Khatarnak in 1990 but struggled many year against Anjuman, Neeli, Nadira, Reema and Madiha Shah. Saima got breakthrough from film Dillagi in 1992 and her pair with Sultan Rahi was seen in almost 50 movies. After the sudden death of Rahi sahib in January 1996, Saima and Punjabi movies faced downfall but director Syed Noor's film Ghoonghat (1997) was a new life for Saima. After the blockbuster film Choorian (1998), Saima has been No. One heroine in Pakistani movies. Saima and Shaan have been pair in more than 100 movies and they are still active as first pair.

Saima was born in Multan on May 5, 1967. She married film director Syed Noor in 2005.

لیکن 23 مارچ 2017ء کو انھیں موجودہ اور مستقل ڈومین pakmag.net میں ضم کیا گیا جس نے "پاک میگزین" کی شکل اختیار کر لی تھی۔
