Asad Bukhari debuted in film BeGunah in 1958 and got fame from film Surayya in 1961. He was seen as hero in the beginning of his career but ended as a top class villain, especially in Punjabi films. He also produced and directed some films, Dillan Day Souday (1969), Aasoo Billa (1971) and Khanzada (1974) were some of his big films.
Asad Bukhari was born in 1934 in Gujranwala and died on April 14, 2020 at Lahore.
