This official Urdu announcement about the creation of the largest Islamic country in the world - Pakistan, was on air first time on the midnight of 14th and 15th August 1947 (Ramadan 27, 1366 hijri) by Mustafa Ali Hamdani, who was well respected broadcaster on All India Radio Lahore and served many years on Radio Pakistan.
Mustafa Ali Hamdani died on April 21, 1980.
