W.Z. Ahmad made only two films in Pakistan, Ruhi (1954) and Waada (1957). He was producer, director and writer of both films. Before partition, he was known for his two super hit films Ek Raat (1942) and Mann Ki Jeet (1944). He died in 2007 in Lahore.
