Nazar Shabab was younger son of legendary film director Shabab Keranvi and brother of director Zafar Shabab.
Nazar Shabab's first film as director was Sajjan Beli in 1970, which was an average social and comedy Punjabi film. He got success from Urdu film Rangeela aur Munawar Zarif in 1973. Shama (1975) was one of his all time best film with three Urdu film legends, Mohammad Ali, Waheed Murad and Nadeem in leading roles. Noukar (1975), Shabana (1976), Susral (1977), Behan Bhai, Khushbu (1979), Kabhi Alwida Na Kehna (1983) and Bobby (1984) were some other big movies.
Nazar Shabab died on Eid-ul-Ftir day on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Lahore.
