Nazar was first film comedian in Pakistani films. His first film was Teri Yaad in 1948 and he appeared in more than 150 films.

Nazar debuted before partition in Lahore-made Punjabi film Gul Baloch in 1946. This film was also the first film of the legendary playback singer Mohammad Rafi.

Nazar was born in 1920 and died on January 20, 1992 in Lahore.
