Umrao Zia Begum was a playback singer from the 1930s/40s. She was introduced in film Swarg Ki Seerhi (1934). She sang in films as Prem Yatra (1937), Sohni Mehinwal (1939), Sehti Murad (1941) and Poonji (1943).
She married famous music director Master Ghulam Haider and left the film industry.
