Master Murad was the most popular and busiest child-star in Pakistani films during the peak era in the 1960s/70s. He debuted from film Parda (1966). He was honored to become the only child-star who appeared in a leading role in an Urdu film Hamlog (1970) without any typical film hero or heroine in the film.
Murad Ali Yousaf acted in many films during his childhood but "retired" when he was in young age. After many years in anonymity, he came back as a film director and made his first film Jan Tun Pyara (2014). He is still active in film industry in Lahore.
