Mian Shafiq

Mian Shafiq was producer of film Rishta (1963), which was the last Punjabi film of legendary pair Sabiha-Santosh and the first Punjabi film of singing legend Masood Rana. He introduced his two sons Khalid and Haidar in main roles in classic musical film Hamrahi (1966), which was also his all time best super hit film. He also produced films like Aukha Jatt (1969), Yaar Dushman (1984), Heera Lal (1987) and Shooka (1991).

His third son Javed was seen in his only film Naheed in 1968..
