Renowned Radio, TV and film writer, poet, director and actor Ather Shah Khan, who was best known as Jaidi from his famous TV play "Hello Hello" died on May 10, 2020 at Karachi. He was 77 years old.
Ather Shah Khan was best known for playwriting but he also directed a film Aas Pas in 1982 and was assistant director and actor in film Manji Kithay Dahwan in 1974. He was also dialogue and screenplay writer of these films. His other films as writer were Jugnu (1968), Bazi (1970) and Maa Bani Dulhan (1988). He also acted in films like Namak Harram (1974), Chori Chori (1978) and Aas Pas (1982).
