Sehba Akthar was a famous poet who penned many film songs. His most popular song was a patriotic song "Dunya Janay, Meri Watan Ki Shaan.." It was sung by famous folk singer Alam Loahar in film Azadi Ya Mout in 1966. He wrote this famous song as well "Phir Subha Ho Gi, Andheray Nahin Ruknay Walay.." sung by Masood Rana in film Phir Subah Ho Gi (1967). His song "Sathi, Tera Mera Sathi Hay Lehrata Samundar.." in film Samundar (1968) was also a hit song which was sung by Ahmad Rushdi, Masood Rana, Sain Akthar and Co. One of his famous song was "Tanha Thi Aur Hamesha Say Tanha Hay Zindagi.." which was sung by Mehdi Hassan in an unreleased film Jaltay Armaan Bujhtay Deep.

Sehba Akhtar was born in 1931 and died in 1996 in Karachi.

یہ تاریخ ساز ویب سائٹ، ایک انفرادی کاوش ہے جو 2002ء سے mazhar.dk کی صورت میں مختلف موضوعات پر معلومات کا ایک گلدستہ ثابت ہوئی تھی۔

اس دوران، 2011ء میں میڈیا کے لیے akhbarat.com اور 2016ء میں فلم کے لیے pakfilms.net کی الگ الگ ویب سائٹس بھی بنائی گئیں
لیکن 23 مارچ 2017ء کو انھیں موجودہ اور مستقل ڈومین pakmag.net میں ضم کیا گیا جس نے "پاک میگزین" کی شکل اختیار کر لی تھی۔
