Khawaja Parvez was one of few poets in Pakistani movies who wrote songs in both Urdu and Punjabi movies. His first film as song writer was film Riwaj in 1965 and got breakthrough from film Aina (1966). He wrote songs in maximum numbers of movies in his almost fifty years film career.

He also wrote stories, dialogues and screenplay for many movies. He was introduced as an actor in film Clerk in 1960.

Khawaja Parvez's real name was Khawaja Ghulam Mohayuddin and he was born on June 3, 1932 in Amritsar. He died on June 20, 2011 in Lahore.
