He was best known as writer, director and actor in remarkable TV serial Alif Noon, which was first telecast in 1965 and then again in 1980s on Pakistan Television. The plot of this serial was a critical view on the society and Rizvi played the negative but the winner role as Allan (Alif) and Rafi Khawar played the innocent but looser role as Nanha (Noon), which became his film name as well.

Kemal Ahmad Rizvi was born in Indian state Bahar in 1930 and moved to Pakistan in 1958. He wrote some books and columns in Daily Imroze Lahore. He died on December 17, 2015 at Karachi.
