Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi was not a regular film writer but one of his famous short story Gandasa was filmed as Wehshi Jatt in 1975, which changed the whole style of Punjabi movies. He also wrote stories and dialogues in few other movies, famous musical film Lori in 1966 was on of them.

Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi was a prominent poet, writer and journalist who was editor of one of the main Urdu Daily Imroz Lahore. Read more on Wikipedia..

Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi's real name was Ahmad Shah Awan. He was born in Khushab on November 20, 1916 and died on July 9, 2006 in Lahore.
