M.S. Dar

M.S. Dar was film director of the first ever blockbuster film Dulla Bhatti in 1956. His first film was Kundan (1950) and other films were Sardar (1957), Saltanat (1960), Samira (1963) and Laralappa (1970).

M.S. Dar or Mohammad Shafi Dar was editor of two film magazines from Lahore and father of two famous film directors Aslam Dar and Waheed Dar. His son Saeed Dar is a cinematographer.
