Ibrahim Nafees was introduced in film Raat kay Rahi (1960). He appeared in few movies as leading roles. He played the title role in film Heera aur Pathar (1964). He was hero with Talat Siddiqi in film Ishq-e-Habib (1965) and he was second hero in film Doraha and Ehsan (1967). Then he mostly played negative or character actor roles in more than hundred Urdu movies. His other famous movies were Insan Badalta Hay (1961), Banjaran (1962), Phir Subah Hogi (1967), Jab Jab Phool Khilay (1975), AnnData (1976), Saheli, Anmol Mohabbat (1978) and many more.
He also produced a film Dil Walay in 1974.

Born as Syed Ibrahim Rizvi in 1936 in Agra, India, Ibrahim Nafees basically was a Radio artist. He joined Radio Pakistan Karachi in 1952 and became the first ever announcer on Radio Pakistan Hyderabad in 1958. He was Stage and TV artist as well. He died on May 20, 2012 in Karachi.
