Saleem Nasir appeared in more than 400 TV plays and 10 movies. His first film was Al-Asifa in 1971 and the last Kis Naam Say Pukarun in 1979. He was a big name on TV screen but failed on silver screen. His most famous performannce was in TV serial Aangan Terha. His role as Sarver Bhatti Shaheed in the famous Ptv serial Nishan-e-Haidar was also appreciated and his comedy role of Mamu in An-Kahi was another remarkabale role.

Saleem Nasir was born on November 15, 1944 and died on October 19, 1989 in Karachi.
