Meena was best known with her full film name Meena Shori. She got huge success from Sohrab Modi's classic film Sikandar in 1941. She worked in India until 1956. One of famous Indian Punjabi film Chaman (1948) was her big film with her director husband Roop K. Shori. The famous song Chan Kithan Guzari Aai Raat Way.. was super hit song from this film.

Meena Shori was first heroine of one dozens Pakistani movies but without any success. Bara Admi (1957) and Behrupia (1960) were some hit movies. She was born in 1920 in Raiwind, Lahore and died on September 2, 1987 in Lahore.
