Her fist film was a silent film Eye For An Eye in 1931. She was the third most famous female artist (after Noorjahan and Surayya) who was actress and singer same time. She had some movies with legendary artist Kundan Lal Seigal, Tansen (1943) was the most popular movie of this pair.

Khursheed Bano was only seen in two Pakistan movies, Funkar and Mandi in 1956 but without any success.

She was born in Qasoor, Punjab and married with comedy actor Lala Yaqoob. Her second marriage was with a businessman Yusuf Bhai Mian. She died on April 18, 2001.
