NAZEER (Hero, Character actor Producer
Director)

Nazeer was a prominent film related personality in India
pre-partition. He was a director producer, and actor of many films like Aabe-e-Hayat (1932), Chandargupt (1934), Kounkisika,
Midnight mail, Sitara (1939), Captian Kishori and Sandaisa (1940), Pias (1941), Kaljug and Society (1942), Salma,
Aabroo and Bhalai (1943), Laila Manjnoon (1945), Gaon
kee gori, and Wamiq Azra (1946) and Malka (1947).
In Pakistan he was the first successful film hero and director. Till mid 50's
he acted as hero in films and then turned to character actors roles and got
fame in those characters. He was married with Souran Lata and
died in 1983.

SADIQ ALI (Prince of Minerva)
Sadiq Ali was a prominent and very handsome hero of 30's
and 40's in Indian film industry. He was dubbed Prince of Minerva by Sohrab
Modi when he worked in film Pukar (Naseem-Sohrab Modi).
His other films were Pathron key Sodagar, Sandaisa, Sikandar, Sultana
Chand bibi, Rangeela dost, Aik din ka sultan, Khan bahadur, Jailer, Meetha
zahar, Vasanti, Blackout, Phir milaingay, Parakh, Ulti ganga, Parthavi vallubh,
Jagbeeti, Nishana, Jeevan sapna, Saathi, Do Nainan, Majhdar and Mitti.
In Pakistan, he could not be proved himself as successful as he was in India.
He worked in two films Judai (Shaheena) in 1950 and Shola (Asha
Posley) in 1952. Last years of his life were very miserable, he was paralyzed
and most of the time keep sitting on a bench beside the Pan shop in Capital cinema
lane, Karachi recalling his past hey days of his life. Died in 1977 in Karachi.
MASOOD
Masood had acted as hero in many films before partition in Indian movies like Aabroo, Ishara, Nadaan, Naqad narain (1943), Daiver, Jeevan Chaya and Naik perveen (1946), and Bhanwar (1947).
After migration to Pakistan he worked in many films as hero, most of them with Sabiha and for a short period his pair with Sabiha was accepted at that time. He worked in Ghairat (Sabiha) and Pinjra (Sabiha) in 1951, Shola (Asha Posley) and Harjai (Najma) in 1952, Sailab (Sbiha) and Barkha (Sabiha) in 1953, Intikhab (Jameela Razzaq) in 1955 and Sotaili Maan (Souran Lata) and Haqiqat (Yasmeen) in 1956 and Zanjeer (Raagnee) in 1960.
SUDHIR
Sudhir, real name Shah Zaman Khan Afridi, was
the super star action hero in our Pakistan film industry who played a long inning
as hero in 40 years of his film career. He appeared first time in film Farz (heroine
Raagni) made before partition and released in 1947. In Pakistan his first film
was Hichkolay (1949) and till 1987 he was in lime light.

SANTOSH
Santosh's real name was Syed Moosa Raza, highly qualified (ICS), handsome and first ever romantic hero of Pakistan film industry. First time appeared in film Ahensa (1947) before partition in India. 
In Pakistan started his film career with film Beli (1950), produced film Sham Dhaley, second marriage with Sabiha Khanum. Their pair was very popular in many hit films in 50's till early 60's. He died on June 11, 1982.

RATAN KUMAR
He was very talented and famous child artist of Indian cinema in 50's. He worked in many hit films in India like Baiju Bawra (Meena Kumari-Bharat Bhoshan), Bohat din howay, Boot Polish (directed Zia Sarhadi) and Footpath etc.
In mid 50's migrated to Pakistan and played young boy's role in many films like Wah ray zamaney, Bedari, Masoom, Do ustad etc. Nagan (Neelo-1959) was the first film he played a groomed hero. His film career was not very long but full of joy and fame, till 69 he worked in some more films with different heroines like Neelo, Husna, Rani, Zeba, Rozina, Laila and Ghazala,
NASIR KHAN
Younger brother of legendary actor Dilip Kumar (Yousuf Khan) had worked in some films Mazdoor (1945) and Shahnai (1947) in India before migrating to Pakistan. He was the hero of first ever film of Pakistan Tairi Yad (Asha Posley) in 1948 and second film Shahida (Shamim) in 1948.
Nasir Khan did not continue his stay in Pakistan and returned back to India and resumed Indian film industry again. He married with Baigum Para (40's/50's film actress), and Ayub Khan, Indian film/TV actor is the son from them. Begum Para is also sister-in-law of Abdul Hafeez Peerzada, Bhutto fame and a prominent lawer of Pakistan. Begum Para visited Pakistan in early 70's for permanent settling in Pakistan, but due to some reasons could not and returned back to India.

SURAISH
“Suhani raat Dhal chuki....”, this famous Mohammed Rafi's song was picturized on Suraish in A.R. Kardar's film Dulari (Madhubala) in 1949.
Suraish worked in two Pakistani films Do Kinarey (1950) and Eid (1951), but could not prolong his stay in Pakistan and returned back to India.
