Top music director N A S H A D was one of best ever Urdu music director in Pakistani film history. He composed music for 65 movies in Pakistan and had a big score as super hit film songs in his 18 years long film career.
Nashad's first film in Pakistan was Mehkhana in 1964 and his last film was Badnam in 1980. He was born as Shoukat Ali and used Delhvi as nick-name. He got his "film name" Nashad, which he got from director Nakhshab Charjavi in Indian film Naghma (1955). His first Indian film was Tootay Taray and he composed music in 27 Indian movies from 1947-62.
He was born at Delhi on Julya 11, 1923 and died on January 3, 1981.
